Lemieux Chosen to View Afghan Detainee Documents

Pierre has been personally selected by Prime Minister Stephen Harper to
be one of only two Conservative MPs to be part of the important committee
that is reviewing Afghan detainee documents. Tens of thousands of uncensored
pages relating to Canada's handling of Afghan detainees will be examined by the
security-cleared committee of MPs in the upcoming weeks and months.

(FedDev Ontario).
Projects include the 2011 International Plowing Match,
Le Phénix, and La Cooperative de la Maison familiale
rurale franco-ontarien (MFRFO). |

Upgrade
Works Begin at St-Isidore Arena

Pierre took part in the official ground breaking marking the beginning of an
important upgrade project for the St-Isidore Arena. The $660,000
investment from the federal government will allow the municipality of La Nation
to build two wheelchair accessible locker rooms, to expand its
bowling alley and to add a meeting room on the second floor. A new elevator will
finally make the second floor accessible to people with limited mobility.
